This Privacy Policy explains how Rêve Hair Salon ("Rêve", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the Rêve mobile application (the "App") to book appointments at our salon. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
In short: we collect only what we need to manage your bookings, we never sell your data, we don't show ads, and we automatically delete appointment history 31 days after a visit ends.
1. Who we are
Rêve Hair Salon operates a salon in Rahovec, Kosovo. We are the data controller responsible for the personal data processed through the App. For any privacy question, contact us at myhedinzika@gmail.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect only the information needed to run the booking service:
- Account information - your name, email address, and optionally phone number. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from that provider.
- Booking information - the barber, services, date, and time of appointments you create, their status, and any notes you add.
- Messages - text messages you exchange with your barber about a specific appointment.
- Notification token - a device push token so we can send you booking confirmations and reminders.
- Technical data - basic device and diagnostic information used to keep the App stable and secure.
We do not collect payment card details. Payment for services is handled in person at the salon.
3. How we use your data
- Create, confirm, reschedule, and cancel your appointments.
- Send you booking confirmations, changes, and a reminder before your appointment.
- Let you message the barber assigned to an appointment.
- Operate, secure, and improve the App.
- Comply with our legal obligations.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
4. Legal basis for processing
Where the GDPR applies, we process your data to perform our booking contract with you, on the basis of your consent for push notifications, and for our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure and reliable.
5. How your data is stored
The App is built on Google Firebase using Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Messaging. Your data is stored on Google's secure cloud infrastructure and processed on our behalf under Google's data-processing terms. Access is restricted by security rules so that you can only read your own account, appointments, and messages.
6. Data retention
We keep your personal data only as long as needed:
- Appointments and messages are automatically deleted 31 days after the appointment is completed, cancelled, or marked as a no-show.
- Your account is kept while it remains active. You can delete it at any time, after which we remove your profile data.
7. Sharing your data
Your appointment details are visible to the barber assigned to that appointment and to salon administrators, so they can serve you. We share data with Google Firebase as our hosting and infrastructure provider. We may disclose data if required by law. We never share your data for marketing purposes.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent for notifications. You can manage your profile and delete your account in the App, or contact us to exercise any of these rights.
9. Notifications
We send push notifications for booking confirmations, changes, reminders, and new messages. You can turn these off in your device settings; if you do, you can still see the same updates in the App's in-app notifications inbox.
10. Children
The App is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If a minor needs an appointment, it should be booked by a parent or guardian.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
